Fiber Roofing cc (originally known as Redruth Thatching) was founded by Jan and Miriam Grobler in 1976.
By the early 1990s, Jan and Miriam had already grown this thatching company from a small company to a workforce of nearly 200 employees and 1,000 thatch harvesters, constructing over 50,000m² of thatch roofed areas per year. In management we have more than 150 years of thatch roof experience!
Our working directors / shareholders have a combined knowledge and expertise in the thatching manufacturing field comprising 150 years. The property and factories from which the business operates is owned by Fiber Roofing cc. The permanent staff compliment consists of 89 employees which consist of: Directors, project engineers, technicians, buyers, general office staff, , carpenters, welders, fitters, drivers, labourers, etc…
We supply to 99% of all the successful thatch companies in the world and have successfully completed more projects in the world with distributors and some projects on our own, than what have been done by all the opposition companies together. Working ethically and with integrity is absolutely fundamental to the on-going success of our business. Without our Agents our company simply wouldn’t have grown the way it has.
